Q: Can someone help me how to remove a keyboard and replace a new on a Toshiba A105-S2101?
Can someone help me how to remove a keyboard and replace a new on a Toshiba A105-S2101?
I truly need help very much because I have a few keys do not work at all and I just bought a brand new keyboard for it.
A: The keyboard is not a user-replaceable part according to their support website. A Toshiba tech support rep may be able to walk you through the replacement process.
Q: How do I remove the bios password on a toshiba satellite a105/s2101?
How do I remove the bios password on a toshiba satellite a105/s2101?
A: HAH!!!!!!!! The easiest password to bypass. try madboot.com and download the universal bios flasher and put it on a floppy. It will autpmatically compy itself to one when you launch the tool. put it in the floppy drive then boot it will flash the bios. all settings will restore to default. Another way is removing the bios battery which is harder for non techs to do on laptops. see if there is a button on the bottom that looks like those tiny ressette buttons you have to use a sharp object to get. That will also flash the BIOS.
Q: Can I change the graphics card in a Toshiba Satellite A105-S4324?
The graphics card in my Toshiba Satellite A105-S4324 (Bought in March 07) does not work for the type of things I need to do. Is there a way to change graphic cards out for one that is better?
A: No, there are only a handful of extremely expensive laptops in which the graphics card can be upgraded; that's one of the disadvantages of a laptop compared to a desktop.
Q: What can I do with this Toshiba A105 laptop ?
Its under warranty still , and I hate it . The casing sux when you touch the keyboard messes with the audio output. The battery was recalled and I'm still waiting for it to come in the mail. There is something going on with the wireless card maybe too. The router is putting out a signal that is not getting picked up by the computer. What can I do with this thing?
Hey the UPS dude just came with my battery , no crap :)
A: Where did you buy it? Have you checked out their return policy? Play the part of the angry consumer and get them to take it back. Make your next notebook a Macintosh. You won't regret it.
Q: is windows home premium vista compatible with a toshiba a105-s2061 with a 1 gb memory?
ok and umm i tried the advisor and installed i and it came out accuratly WRONG! i got the BSOD and i had to format my computer. THe real question is has anyone had any success upgrading with the same laptop?
A: Vista is just a ghost for low-end laptops. It is hungry for high-capacity hardware, especially RAM. your 1 GB RAM meets Vista's minimum requirements. But remember the 'minimum' word and it means it will slow down your system. 2 GB is recommended for good performance. Run Microsoft Vista Upgreade Advisor to check your notebook's compatibility through internet. But surely its probability to be compatible is 99%. You can go for Vista but first think about the RAM.
Q: How do you install a new hard drive in a Toshiba Satellite A105-S2236 laptop?
I am trying to install a new hard drive in my laptop. Is there a special adapter for the laptop HD? Any help is appreciated.
A: It's very simple. Place your hand on top of the laptop on the lower right hand corner beneath the keyboard. Directly beneath is the hard drive. Flip the laptop upside down and disconnect the battery and power supply.
From the bottom:
1. Remove one screw from the panel covering the hard drive. This part and further will require a very small phillips screwdriver.
2. There will be an additional screw under the cover holding the hard drive into a seated position. Remove the srew and slide the hard drive to the left and remove.
3. Remove the hard drives outer frame using a small phillips screw driver and attach it to the new hard drive.
4. Re install the same way it was removed. It's really very simple.
If you are upgrading configuring the hard drive may be more difficult then actually installing it. Good Luck
Q: Is the replacement of batteries in the one year warranty for Toshiba A105-S2141 Laptop?
I need a new battery for my laptop and I need to find out if the replacement of batteries is part of the one year warranty.
A: Batteries normally lose the capability to store power with time, much like tire wear on cars, which is considered normal wear due to usage. Manufacturer warranties don't cover that kind of issue unless the battery has some manufacturing defects; however most stores sell additional warranties at the point of sale that often cover batteries. So while the Toshiba warranty doesn't cover that (assuming it's due to normal use) if you have additional retailer warranty, that might.
Q: How to re-format a toshiba satellite a105-s4164 without the recovery disc?
I need all instructions step-by-step
A: You could format it, but you would not be able to recover your operating system without a recovery disk. I would call Toshiba and order the disks.
Q: I have a toshiba satellite a105 that has bluetooth programs and a razor v3m, How do i link them?
When i try to setup the bluetooth on my laptop it prompts me to plug in bluetooth device, what does that mean?

Q: Where is the memory slot located on the Toshiba A105-S2051?
Thank you.
A: Usually they are on the bottom of the unit and secured by 1 or 2 small Phillips screws. Remove the screws and pop the cover open. The memory should pop right in. Turn on the laptop to confirm the memory is working then replace the cover and screws and you're all set. Should take less than 5 minutes,
I wouldn't recommend paying someone to do this.
Q: My Toshiba Satallite A105 does not recognise the burner. How to fix?
I can not burn cds. I create playlists and move to burn yet the Windows Media Center says to connect burn device which is suppose to be built in to the dvd multi recorder, compact disc rewritable, rw dvd rewritable. It is suppose to have Sonic recordnow not working either. Any help Chad R toshiba repair tech.
A: First if you can use CD's the drive works. check the settings for the software that you are using. If that doesn't work use the following.
Use the Recovery disk that it came with, explore the disk and find the drivers for the burner. But you should also see if its there in "my computer" if it is just double click on it and it my ask you for the drivers this is when you put the cd in.

A: Add another memory card, or replace the one you have. Go to Toshiba's set it get the specifics for your machine and then use that for ordering the memory from NewEgg or similar store.
